If you would like to take your children to visit Santa, here is a list of places to take them.
I have seperated the events by state and will be adding more events as I find them.
Todos Santos Plaza, at Willow Pass Road and Grant Street, downtown Concord Tree lightings, caroling and Santa Claus at Concord and Clayton events Dec. 4. At 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, firefighters will escort Santa with sirens, bells and whistles from Station 6 at Willow Pass Road and Grant Street to Salvio Street and then circle the plaza at least once before stopping behind the stage. Santa's arrival signals the beginning of the holiday festivities which begin at 5 p.m. with performances from groups such as Concord High's Ladies First singers, the Concord High Jazz band, Mt. Diablo's Red Devils Chorus, D'Ann's Academy of Dance, 60 members from Queen of All Saints School and Church and more choir performances. Beginning at 5 p.m., he will bring in the holiday spirit with performances by numerous community groups. Following the performers is the Mayor's Sing-Along and then the official tree lighting. Emcee for the tree lighting is ABC 7 news anchor Dan Ashley. While celebrants are being entertained with music and dance, Santa visits with children. Weiss said people may take their own pictures, or for a nominal fee, a professional provided by Wentling Studio will take the picture.

Families share a festive breakfast with Mrs. Claus, Snowflake Sam and Raggedy Ann. After buffet meal, visit Santa at his holiday home and ride the Santa Claus Express train in Celebration Crossing. The breakfast also includes gift bags for children and museum admission. Traditional Christmas Dinner with Santa - Santa Claus, Indiana - Enjoy a traditional family-style Christmas Dinner with Santa in the Celebration Room of Santa Lodge Fridays, December 3, 10, and 17. Dinner is served at 6:00 pm CST and doors open at 5:30 pm. The dinner is followed by carols and America’s Hometown Christmas Tree Lighting. Reservations are required by calling (812) 937-1902.

Waxhaw, North Carolina, about 19 miles from Charlotte, North Carolina, really knows how to celebrate with its 12 Days of Christmas in Waxhaw. From November 26 through December 19, the town has festive celebrations scheduled every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The Holiday Festival of Lights kicks off the celebrations at 5:30 p.m. November 26th when Waxhaw is lit up with 50,000 lights, has carriage rides, caroling, prizes and Santa Claus. The Christmas Parade is December 12 at 3 p.m. and ends with a Snack with Santa and the Amazing Grace Bake Sale. There are plenty of other activities to choose from, so make plans now to attend.
